Terms of use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These are the rules for using Capiche. We kept them short. By using the app, you agree to them.
What Capiche is
Capiche helps you learn a language by listening to and reading content you choose: videos, podcasts, shows and articles. It sorts your list, gives you tools to understand it, and tracks your progress. Capiche is currently a test version, so some things may change or break.
The subscription
- One plan, with everything included: €9.99 a month or €59.99 a year.
- It starts with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
- You buy it through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- To cancel: open your iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Capiche. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, under the App Store's rules.
- When the trial ends unpaid, listening and the help tools lock. Your list, your hours and your progress stay visible, and you can still log time by hand for free.
Content belongs to its creators
The videos, podcasts, shows and articles you add belong to the people who made them. Capiche doesn't own them and doesn't host copies of them. It plays them through their official players (YouTube, podcast feeds), or opens them in their own app (Netflix, Spotify, TikTok and others). Use each service according to its own terms.
Using Capiche fairly
- Use it for your own learning.
- Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to get around the rules of the services your content comes from.
- Answers in the chat are written by an AI model. They're usually helpful, but they can be wrong. Don't rely on them for anything important.
No warranty
Capiche is provided as it is. We work hard to make it reliable and useful, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that you'll reach a given level in a language. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app grows. When we do, we change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters.
